Sorry for Nothing
I have been swamped at work, so have not had time to put up a post. In short, the last 2 weeks, I have hit 18 -20 hours of good base training. I am on my last base week right now, before I take a rest week. I will give a more detailed update shortly.

Base 2 - 2 of the 3 Sports are Great!
My stats for this week:
Swim: 3:50 , 12,800 yards
Bike: 9:50 , 189 miles
Run: 2:25 , 17 miles
Lift : 0:50
Total: 16:55
I had a great week of swimming and biking, and everything is going to plan for those 2 sports. I started to have problems behind my left knee, so I have cut back on my running a lot. I want to be really smart with my running and preventing injuries.
This upcoming week, I will try to run as much as is reasonable. However, who knows how much that will be. Therefore, I will bike and swim more than usual, since I won't be running as much.
This weekend, I got my bike fitting done by Sergio Borges at San Diego XTraining. To say the least, the fitting is amazing. I went and rode for 4:10 the next day and have never had a better ride before. For those of you in the area, check out Sergio's coaching and service offerings at www.sandiegoxtraining.com.
Until next time!

Start of my Base Work
This week went well as I started my base work. I will put in 3 good weeks of base work, before taking an easy week. I will mostly focus on my form and staying healthy. After this, I will start to put in some of the hard-long miles.
This weeks stats:
Swim: 3:30 - 11,300 yards
Bike: 9:35 - 177 miles
Run: 4:22 - 32.3 miles
Weights: 0:50
Total Time: 18:17
I will continue to build each area by 10%, since this is the increase the body can handle without starting to breakdown. This will probably be the last time I am under 20 hours, besides easy weeks, for the rest of the season.
I bought a new pair of bib shorts for by DeSoto from tribuys.com. Be sure and visit them for any of your triathlon needs.
